Wines purchased from us may be stored with us for 6 months free of charge. Thereafter a charge of £10.00 plus V.A.T per case per year will be made. Full details on request.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

Credit Facility

Credit Facilities will be arranged on receipt of two trade references and a bankers reference. Otherwise goods will only be supplied on a cash on delivery basis, or cheque - by arrangement.

Terms of Credit

Net cash payment is due 21 days from the date of invoice. The Four Vintners reserve the right to apply an additional 2.5% financing charge per month from the original invoice date on any amount remaining unpaid after the due date. Title to the goods does not pass to a customer until payment for the goods has been received by The Four Vintners Ltd in full.

Value Added Tax

All prices quoted exclude Value Added Tax at the current rate of 17.5%, unless otherwise stated.

Delivery

Delivery in the Greater London area is free of charge for orders of 3 cases (36 bottles) of wines and spirits (mixed). Smaller orders of less than 3 cases of wines and spirits (mixed) or under £100 (excluding V.A.T.) in value will be surcharged £7.99 plus V.A.T per consignment. We also arrange delivery throughout the U.K. and to many overseas countries: charges for these services will be supplied on request at our order office.

Quantity Discounts

The total number of complete cases of wines, spirits, beers and minerals ordered from the list is aggregated to calculate the `assorted case rate'. It will be beneficial for you to include beers and minerals with your order to qualify for the higher rates of discount.

Sale or Return

We offer sale or return which is a great help for those arranging parties and weddings. This must be agreed at the time of placing the order. We will accept the return of part cases of wines and spirits - but only full cases of beers and soft drinks. We can only credit up to 20% of the original order value and an administration charge of £7.99 plus V.A.T will be made for collection of the returns.

Single Bottles - Split Cases of Wines & Spirits

We accept orders for single bottles (i.e. less than a case). These will be charged at the overall qualifying case rate.

Breakages and Short Delivery

Any damages, breakages or short delivery must be noted on our delivery sheet and also notified to us or to our carriers on the same day. No claim can be entertained unless these conditions are fulfilled.

Price Changes and Availability

All Prices quoted are subject to alteration without notice.
All goods are subject to availability and market fluctuation.
